Madison Music Therapy Services is a music therapy private practice owned and directed by T.J. Holsen (he/him/his).

T.J. is a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg University, and is on the Wisconsin Music Therapy Registry. He completed his clinical training working in hospice, eldercare, and with neurodivergent youth. T.J. has been facilitating interactive group and individual music programs in eldercare since 2021, and he’s been a performing musician for decades in the Chicago-area and Madison.

T.J. is an approved provider for CLTS in Dane Co. and IRIS statewide. He has worked in community-based human service organizations and education for his entire career, and he also has a Master’s degree in Adult Education.
